Paper is the most important element of printing when you print a book. The paper is going to make or break your book printing. With questionable paper that rips easily, fades or picks up every smudge, your book printing will lose its value in no time. We know that paper is where you start trying to raise the quality of any of your book printing.
The saddle stitch binding technique takes full sheets of paper, stapled together in the center. Then the book, including the cover, is folded in half along the line of the staple. This is definitely a cost-effective binding method because no glue is used. Saddle stitch books can be produced very quickly and efficiently. It is also a very eco-friendly process since it wastes no paper glue.

Here is what we recommend for ideal file setup: - Press quality PDF format files are ideal - CMYK color mode is recommended - color matching is not guaranteed for spot colors - Files must have 0.125 inches bleed added all around each edge ( add 0.25 inches total to each dimension - ie 5.5 x 8.5" = 5.75 x 8.75" with bleed ) - All text, borders, and vital logos should be at least 0.25 inches away from the canvas edges to avoid cutting - All images must be at least 300 DPI resolution for ideal
